A Country Song?

Chris Mundell and I are in a song-writing group. The group challenged me to write a country song. So I did. Chris hammed it up with some Nashvillish vocals. I'd love to hear some feedback, especially if you actually listen to country music! Head on over to his site to take a listen....

Also, I'd like to say sorry for the lack of posts in 2008.  I promise to get back into it!

ummm... does anyone really listen to country music?

Just kidding... I enjoyed it for it's comic value alone

I especially liked how you weaseled in "Geetar". So authentic and so deliciously right on the money. I should know, being from the sticks.

Thanks Leen!!

Kjaere--there's a huge market for country music which inspired us to give it a whirl. We're trying to submit to "song listings". i probably would not have written it otherwise, but I'm glad I did--it was fun to try! :)

Never thought I'd ever hear a country song by you! The Morgans (by blood, not those by marriage :)) might disown you...

Elie thinks it sounds like the guy from the Super Bowl (Tom Petty). hehe
